Part 1: How to Roll Your Own Joint
Part 2: How to Roll Blunts
Part 3: How to Roll Infused

Q. I’ve been smoking with you for a few months now, and you roll up the craziest infused blunts I’ve ever smoked. How’d you learn to roll and why do you prefer to infuse your own?

Alex’s Answer:

When I didn’t know how to infuse my blunts, I’d ask my friends. But I got tired of depending on them and learned myself by copying what my friends were doing.

I just perfected it from there. I like getting really high and the high is enhanced with concentrates. You get more flavor from concentrates than you do from flower alone. I also like the whole process of rolling up an infused blunt, it’s cathartic and fun.

Q. What are you rolling up right now, or what do you have your eye on to roll up next?

Alex’s Answer:

I really like Greenline’s Teenths, especially the Watermelon Runtz and Donny Burger strains. When it comes to concentrates, I’m all about THCa powder and any live rosin. Greenline concentrates and Fire King Hash are also top picks for me.

Q. Any tips for those learning to roll a blunt for the first time?

Alex’s Answer:

Be patient and don’t get frustrated. Remember, you’ll learn over time. Go slow, it’s not a race. And don’t forget, head over to our tutorial on rolling a blunt for more tips and tricks.

Q. Any tricks you’ve learned along the way?

Alex’s Answer:

Avoid the air pockets in a blunt or joint! Evenly spread the flower & concentrate through the blunt. Remember to feel for the pockets as you’re rolling.

Form that cylinder. Use a dab tool to help scoop the concentrates in. If you only use your hands, they’ll get sticky and it’ll be harder to roll.

We can’t wait to learn how you roll infused, step by step. Let’s start the tutorial!

Alex’s Answer:

I prefer Dutches. They hit smooth; they’re almost never stale like Swishers. In fact, they burn slower than most blunts, too.

If it’s wet badder, or anything moist, spread it on the inside of the blunt. You want to do this even before putting any flower in it.

1. Break down your weed. By Hand.

I feel like I lose a little bit of cannabis with a grinder, and I like to have a coarse grind on the flower rather than fine like a grinder does.

2. Use a dab tool.

Dab tools are handy! Take a lighter to the tip of the tool and warm up the concentrate to make it easier to spread on the blunt.

3. Spread the concentrate.

Spread an even layer of the concentrate throughout the blunt wrap for an even burn.

4. Add the ground flower.

Put all of your ground flower into the blunt and evenly spread.

5. Add dry concentrate.

Now start putting in all your dry concentrate. Put in as much as you want, evenly throughout the blunt.

Today, I’m using:

  • Dragonberry Sugar (Greenline)
  • Apple Fritter Diamond Dust (Greenline)
  • Sweet Cherry Diesel Badder (Greenline)
  • Raw Garden Purple Punch
  • Fire King Canna Country hash
  • Lemonheads Double Bubble hash

6. Push in the flower.

Using a little knife or poker, push in some of the flower and cannabis that are popping out.

7. Start Tucking

Start tucking from the left side to form the blunt. Once that’s well tucked, I start on the right side.

8. Work from Left to Right

Using a bit of saliva, start to seal from left to right, always forming and rolling between your fingers as you go. Don’t use too much saliva!

9. Make Sure It’s Sealed

If there is some flower that fell out during the rolling process, put it back into the tip using a poker.

10. Enjoy!
